Finally, the election is over. As always, some are happy and some are feeling devastated. Never has there been an election that delighted and this is certainly no exception. Compromise, a now foreign concept, comes to mind, but then there is that virtue that has its own downside: principle. Perhaps we can clarify the challenge.

To Serve and Protect

One of the most critical issues facing our nation today is the perception that Black Lives seem not to matter and the concurrent assertion that those who stand for Black Lives disrespect “Blue Lives.” There are those who would use this conflict to foment civil war.  This is a conflict that we dare not ignore.
